Every business has a story, and ours started with a dream. Like many, I always wanted to be my own boss. When the opportunity to take over The Shop Screen Printing & Signs Inc. (our former name) came along, I knew it was the right moment to jump in. In February 2014, we opened our doors in a cozy 800‑square-foot space right here in downtown Hohenwald, with one employee and a big vision.

Our little shop grew along with the town we love. In 2015, we moved into a 3,000-square-foot building and welcomed our second team member. By 2017, we purchased our own building, and today we have a full team, all dedicated to serving our neighbors across Lewis County and Middle Tennessee. From custom screen printing and embroidery to vinyl graphics and signage to our newest addition of laser engraving and leather patches, we bring local ideas to life with care, quality, and creativity.

What really makes The Shop Custom Apparel & Signs special is our community. We’ve built this business on relationships—with friends, past coworkers, and a loyal customer base that has supported us from the start. Every project we take on, whether it’s a local school team, a church event, or a small business storefront, carries our commitment to quality, timely delivery, and hometown service.

I give all credit to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for guiding this journey and am grateful every day for the amazing team, customers, and community that make Hohenwald feel like home.
